CloneSweep for Threads(이하 “CloneSweep”)는 사용자가 직접 선택한 Threads 데이터 내보내기를 브라우저 안에서 분석해 사칭 의심 계정을 검토하도록 돕는 Chrome 확장 프로그램입니다. 이 방침은 CloneSweep가 사용자 데이터를 어떻게 처리하고 보호하는지 설명합니다.
1. 처리하는 데이터
CloneSweep는 사용자가 명시적으로 선택한 Threads JSON 내보내기에서 다음 정보를 읽습니다.
- 계정 아이디, 사용자 이름, 표시 이름과 계정 식별자
- 팔로워·팔로잉·차단 관계와 내보내기에 포함된 프로필 링크
- 위 정보에서 로컬로 계산한 비교 점수, 판정 근거와 검토 상태
CloneSweep는 비밀번호, 인증 쿠키, 세션 토큰, 개인 메시지, 게시물, 결제·금융 정보, 건강 정보, 위치, 방문 기록, 클릭, 스크롤 또는 키 입력을 읽거나 기록하지 않습니다.
2. 데이터 사용 목적
처리한 데이터는 다음 전용 목적에만 사용됩니다.
- 팔로잉 계정을 원본 후보로, 팔로워 계정을 검사 대상으로 로컬 비교
- 사칭 의심 후보, 점수와 항목별 근거 표시
- 원본·의심 계정의 Threads 프로필 링크 제공
- 사용자가 선택한
@아이디목록과 검토 보고서 생성
데이터를 광고, 마케팅, 개인 맞춤, 분석 또는 신용도 판단에 사용하지 않습니다.
3. 로컬 저장, 보존 및 삭제
가져온 계정 정보와 분석 상태는 사용자 기기의 chrome.storage.local에만
저장됩니다. 언어 설정은 해당 확장 프로그램의 로컬 저장 영역에 보관됩니다. 저장된 정보는
사용자가 확장 팝업에서 “로컬 데이터 초기화”를 실행하거나 확장 프로그램을 제거할 때까지
유지될 수 있습니다.
4. 외부 전송과 공유
CloneSweep는 가져온 파일, 계정 정보, 분석 결과 또는 사용 기록을 개발자 서버나 제3자 분석 서비스로 전송하지 않습니다. 사용자 데이터를 판매하거나 대여하거나 광고 목적으로 공유하지 않으며, 개발자가 사용자 데이터에 접근할 수 있는 서버도 운영하지 않습니다.
사용자가 Threads 프로필 링크를 직접 누르면 브라우저가 해당 Threads 페이지로 이동합니다. 이때의 사이트 방문은 Threads 운영자의 개인정보처리방침을 따르며, CloneSweep가 가져온 원본 파일이나 분석 결과를 Threads에 전송하지는 않습니다.
5. 클립보드와 다운로드
선택적 clipboardWrite 권한은 사용자가 “@아이디 복사”를 누른 경우에만 요청되며,
선택한 계정 아이디를 클립보드에 쓰는 데만 사용됩니다. CloneSweep는 클립보드 내용을 읽지
않습니다. 검토 보고서는 사용자의 기기에 로컬 파일로 생성됩니다.
6. Threads 페이지와 원격 코드
CloneSweep는 Threads 페이지의 내용, 쿠키 또는 세션을 읽거나 변경하는 콘텐츠 스크립트와 호스트 권한을 사용하지 않습니다. 실행 코드는 모두 확장 프로그램 패키지에 포함되며 외부 JavaScript, WebAssembly 또는 문자열 평가 코드를 불러오지 않습니다. 자동 차단과 자동 신고도 수행하지 않습니다.
7. 보안과 제한적 사용
외부 데이터 전송 경로를 두지 않고 필요한 최소 권한만 요청합니다. CloneSweep의 사용자 데이터 사용은 Chrome 웹 스토어 사용자 데이터 정책과 제한적 사용 요건을 준수하며, 공개한 전용 목적을 제공하는 데 필요한 범위를 넘어 데이터를 사용하거나 전송하지 않습니다.
8. 방침 변경과 문의

CloneSweep for Threads (“CloneSweep”) is a Chrome extension that analyzes a Threads data export selected by the user to help review suspected impersonation accounts. This policy explains how CloneSweep handles user data.
Data handled and purpose
CloneSweep reads account handles, usernames, display names, identifiers, profile links, and follower, following, and block relationships from the Threads JSON export explicitly selected by the user. It uses this data only to compare profiles locally, explain suspected matches, provide direct profile links, and create a selected @handle list or review report.
Local storage and deletion
Imported profile data and analysis state are stored only in chrome.storage.local
on the user’s device. Users can delete the stored data with the reset action in the
extension popup or by uninstalling the extension.
No sale, sharing, or external transmission
CloneSweep does not transmit imported files, profile data, analysis results, or usage data to a developer server or third-party analytics service. It does not sell, rent, or share user data for advertising, marketing, personalization, analytics, or credit decisions. When a user opens a Threads profile link, that visit is governed by the site operator’s privacy policy; CloneSweep does not send the imported export or analysis results with it.
Clipboard, permissions, and remote code
The optional clipboardWrite permission is requested only when the user clicks
Copy @handles, and CloneSweep never reads clipboard contents. The extension does not use
host permissions or content scripts to read or change Threads pages. All executable code is
packaged with the extension; no remote JavaScript, WebAssembly, or evaluated string code is
used. CloneSweep does not automate blocking or reporting.
Limited use and contact
